Questions (a shardorma poem)

rain

(for Tasha)

When it rains,
I wonder where are you?
Does it slip
on your skin,
like my fingers, making love?
Do you think of me?
When the sun
taunts the horizon,
as I might
linger near,
hoping to touch you again —
do you miss me, too?
