Once Upon a Touch — After Pearl Jam, Once (a golden shovel poem)

hand-touching-skin

You touch me only once,
and I feel fire upon
my skin! You are like
shooting star, through time!
You burn your marks right in —
thought I could resist, that I could
keep my flesh under control
now I simply sigh, and lose myself.
