Watching You — After The Police, Every Breath You Take (a golden shovel poem)

watching you

I wake up every
morning, take that first step
 into my day, and you
come to my mind, take
my breath away. I’ll
take you with me, I’ll be
with you till the sunset, watching
from my spot on the porch beside you
